Modern Asset Partners LLC was started by identical twin brothers Justin and Jason La Ferla who were born and raised in New York and have been around the Finance and Investment business since an early age.  After pursuing a career in basketball and receiving Division 1 scholarships to Ohio University they graduated with a major in Finance and minor in Audio Production (Ohio University was considered one of the top 30 business programs in the nation at the time). This transitioned into working for Arista Records in NYC and starting an artist management company called 2WINZ Entertainment. After their time in the music business, they worked for AIG's Wholesale Mortgage Division as two of the top Account Executives in the company. During the mortgage meltdown in 2008 they knew it was time to move on and created a very successful water filtration company called Avalon Water that was sold in 2018 to a publicly traded firm in a multi-million-dollar deal.

 

In the later days of Avalon Water, specifically in early 2017, being successful entrepreneurs themselves they became extremely passionate about helping other businesses grow to reach their full potential and scale to the next level.  This eventually developed into Modern Asset Partners LLC, a private capital raising, and business consulting firm based out of Alpharetta, Georgia.
